LV Crime Map collects your device's approximate location (when you grant permission) solely to center the map on your area. We do not store, transmit, or share your location data with any third party. We do not require account creation, and we do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.
All incident data displayed in LV Crime Map is derived from publicly available radio scanner feeds. We do not record private communications. Incident descriptions are generated automatically from public dispatch audio and may contain errors or omissions. This data is provided for informational purposes only.
LV Crime Map uses Mapbox to render maps. Mapbox may collect anonymized usage data in accordance with their own privacy policy. We use Cloudflare R2 for audio storage. No user-identifiable data is shared with these services.
Incident records are retained for a limited period for display purposes and are automatically removed from public view as they age. We do not sell, rent, or share any data we collect with advertisers or data brokers.
LV Crime Map is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our service, please contact us.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app or website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
